The upcoming movie by Apple TV+ was supposed to be a reunion of Chris Evans and Scarlet Johansson, better known as MCU's Captain America and Black Widow, but it is not going to be.

The two actors have worked together on eight pictures by now, six of which are Marvel movies. In other words, Ghosted could be only the third Evans-Johansson film outside the super-hero franchises.

Among the other two is The Nanny Diaries (2007) that precedes the first Captain America movie.

Allegedly, the reunion didn't work out because of the actors' schedules conflict. It often happens so that famous actors are booked for several projects during the year.

It must have been the case with the upcoming Ghosted. Scarlet Johansson had to drop out early because of being busy with another project.

What's even more interesting is that there might have been another movie with our beloved duo but this time Chris wouldn't have been able to make it.

So, the actors schedules predetermined the impossibility of seeing them work together again. Fortunately or not, Chris Evans still plays his part in Ghosted. But who could be his fellow cast member?

As many may be aware, Hollywood actors often end up working with the actors they've already worked with. Indeed, in Ghosted we can see Evans and his Knives Out co-star Ana de Armas back together.

Armas is a Cuban-Spanish actress who became well-known in Hollywood after her role in that very movie. Since then, she's managed to play in a James Bond 's girlfriend in No Time To Die (2021) and Marilyn Monroe in the 2022 Netflix biopic Blonde.

Ana's portrayal of the infamous actress brought her both a lot of criticism and praise, with some dismissing the whole film as dubious and others pointing out the actresses' resemblance.

However much you might not like Ana de Armas or wish to see Scarlet Johansson in her place, you have to admit, that Armas plays a spy and is good with guns and in action no less than the renowned Black Widow.

Chris Evans, in his turn, portrays a kind and cute man, a part well-suited for him. As for the Avengers reunion, it is yet uncertain if Evans is ever to return as Captain America into the franchise.
