This recipe for chicken baked over thinly sliced potatoes can radically change your evening cooking, especially since the secret lies in a rich cream cheese, honey, and mustard marinade.

Ingredients: 1 kg of chicken thighs, drumsticks, or wings, 800 g of potatoes, 3 tablespoons of cream cheese, 1 tablespoon of Dijon or mild mustard, 1 tablespoon of honey, 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil, 3 cloves of garlic, salt, ground black pepper to taste, 1 teaspoon of paprika.

For the marinade, mix the cream cheese, mustard, honey, vegetable oil, minced garlic, salt, pepper, and paprika. Thoroughly coat the chicken with the mixture and let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.

Peel the potatoes and slice them into very thin rounds. Arrange them in an even layer in a baking dish, then lightly season with salt and pepper. Place the chicken pieces on top along with the remaining marinade. Cover the dish with foil and bake in an oven preheated to 180°C for 40 minutes. Then remove the foil and bake for another 20–25 minutes until golden brown. Serve immediately after cooking.
