The long-awaited MCU movie is finally starting production, and that fact alone makes fans happy enough! But recent news has cast shadows on that happiness.

It's only been several days since the shooting of Daredevil: Born Again started, but it already seems like it is going to face a major delay in the near future.

Although it's only a rumor, the Internet exploded with the news that the creative team may not see through the deadline and could push the shooting process at least a few months further than spring 2024.

And fans have mixed feelings about that.

"That is a very long filming process even for a standard serial television series season. I feel like Kevin Feigie is serious about quality.

Hopefully the writing and budget lives up to the hype and expectations. They have plenty of time and money behind them to make something incredible," Reddit user adamAlexanderGreen said.

Well, it also seems like they don't mind waiting, if in the end there is going to be what they expect to be the best new MCU series.

Still, switching back to the positive side of things, it's highly likely that Bernthal's Frank Castle won't be the only Defenders Saga veteran to feature in Born Again.

It's been rumored that Krysten Ritter will be reprising Jessica Jones too. And let's remember the previous talk of Mike Colter 's Luke Cage and even Finn Jones' Iron Fist getting MCU comebacks of their own…

All we are saying is that it's just possible that we might end up with a Defenders 2.0 on our hands.

"Cautiously optimistic about this one. It has the potential to be awesome but I'm also well aware that so many people have ridiculous expectations that it will never live up to.

Some will love it and others will be disappointed that it isn't what they wanted," Reddit user JamJamGaGA shared.

Well, despite all concerns about how good the series is going to be and how long it will take the creative team to finish it, one thing is absolutely certain: fans still can't get enough of the Marvels and cherish every possibility to see their favorite cast work together again.
