At the end of the fourth season, the characters confront Muzan in an attempt to destroy him. However, one of Muzan's minions transports them all to the Infinity Castle, a vast location consisting of endless rooms, staircases, and constantly shifting corridors.
The normal laws of physics don't apply in this fortress, and sunlight never reaches it, so the demons are safe there.
