Just one hour of your time, and you can serve those delicious buns with whatever feeling you like better.

There’s a verity of options that can be perfect for breakfast, but there might be nothing else that will give you a boost for a good day than a delicious bagel. Pure New York classics, the bun has become a huge hit in recent years, turning into one of the most popular breakfast variants and surpassing the not less classic toast.

If you’ve wanted to bring some diversity into your breakfast routine recently, here’s the recipe for the best bagel you’ll ever try.

Ingredients: 500 g of wheat flour, 250 ml of warm water, 7 g of dry yeast, 2 tbsp of olive oil, 1 tbsp of sugar, 1 tsp of salt.

In a bowl, combine the flour, yeast, sugar, and salt. Add the water and oil, and knead the dough until it becomes elastic. Let the dough rest in a warm place for 1 hour, until it doubles in size.

Divide the dough into equal portions, shape into rings, and let them rise for another 30 minutes.

Boil the bagels in salted boiling water for 1 minute on each side; this will create a firm crust.

Bake at 220°C for 15–20 minutes until golden brown.

Cool on a wire rack. Store in the fridge for up to 5 days or freeze for future use.
