Divine & Foolproof: The One-Bowl Banana Cake That Stays Fresh for Days

There are quite many dessert recipes that promise you a quick result and the perfect texture, but some turn out to be a failure even with experiences bakers. However, there’s also a plenty of the easiest sweet treats out there that will be perfect without much effort, including this chocolate and banana cake that you will make in literally 5 minutes.
All you need is to mix the necessary ingredients and assemble the cake’s layers — you’ll manage that even if your guests are arriving in 30 minutes.
Ingredients:
For the dough: 250 g of flour, 1.5 tsp of baking soda, 1 tbsp of 9% vinegar, ½ tsp of salt, 50 g of cocoa powder, 2 eggs, 300 g of sugar, 60 g of butter, 60 ml of vegetable oil, vanilla extract to taste, 280 ml of milk.
For the cream: 700 g of sour cream, 100–150 g of powdered sugar, 5–6 bananas.
Mix the dry ingredients: 250 g of flour, 50 g of cocoa powder, 1.5 teaspoons of baking soda, 300 g of sugar, vanilla extract, and salt. Add 280 ml of milk, 60 ml of vegetable oil, and 60 g of melted butter, then mix well. Then add 1 tablespoon of vinegar.
Pour the dough into a 24 cm pan and bake at 180°C for 35–40 minutes. Once the sponge cake has cooled, slice it into three layers; crumble the top layer to use as a topping.
For the cream, mix 700 g of sour cream with 100–150 g of powdered sugar. Assemble the cake: cake layer, then cream, then sliced bananas, and repeat. Spread the cream over the top and sides; sprinkle the sides with crumbs, and the top with cocoa and nuts.
