Elsbeth Fans Crave More Romance in Season 3: Will Angus Be Back?
We finally had a chance to see our beloved Elsbeth in love, but still were robbed of it.
When a new series comes out, despite the genre and the central story, we always wait for the romance to start. Well, that's only natural, right? Love is always in the air, and romantic storylines are always the most interesting.

But in the case of the CBS police drama Elsbeth, we had to wait almost two seasons for romance! And finally the writers made it happen in episode 11 of season 2 called Tiny Town. While the main storyline was quite scary, and even Elsbeth herself was in real danger for a brief moment, we also got the chance to see two people click right away.
In the episode, Elsbeth meets Angus, a Scottish man who turned out to be an eyewitness to the murder that happened in New York. He saw everything through a screen that was broadcast 24/7 from a coastal town in Scotland. From the moment they laid eyes on each other, it was obvious they felt something. Too bad they were 3000 miles apart…

But the most romantic thing happened when she thought Angus had forgotten about her, and he showed up in the middle of New-York with his guitar. The lovebirds kissed and the episode ended. We were so happy to see Elsbeth in love, only to discover in the next episode that he had already left.
Fans Are Eager to See Angus Return As Soon As Possible
After that Reddit was invaded with the one and only question: will Angus come back during the rest of the season? Or maybe if we show him enough love he will become a recurring character in the next one?
“I certainly hope so. Ioan Gruffudd is a great actor, and I really liked how he and Elsbeth clicked. Besides, dude traveled 3,000 miles to see her, so something else needs to be shown of their relationship,” Redditor joeyGibson said.

The fan certainly has a point, the romantic gesture was too grand to be there just for the sake of a brief moment. But so far neither the actor nor the rest of the cast have said anything about Angus' future in the show. So there's only hope.
Each new episode of Elsbeth airs on CBS on Thursdays at 10 PM ET, and streams the next day on Paramount+.
