When Will 'Emily in Paris' Season 5 Be Released?
The continuation of Emily's adventures will be released at the end of 2025. Season 5 of Emily in Paris will premiere on Netflix on December 18.
Unlike recent seasons, which were divided into two parts, this season will be released all at once. All episodes will be available on the day of the premiere.
Who Is in the Cast of 'Emily in Paris' Season 5?
In the new season, viewers will see almost all of the main characters from previous seasons again: Emily, Mindy, Sylvie, Julien, Luc, Antoine, Gabriel, and Alfie will all be back.
Alfie, who appeared in a few episodes of the fourth season, will become a full-fledged member of the main cast this time. According to the showrunner, Alfie will appear in nearly every episode of the fifth season.
Several notable newcomers will also join the cast. First is Oscar nominee Minnie Driver, who will play a princess.
Bryan Greenberg will play Jake, an American living in Paris. Additionally, the renowned French actress Michèle Laroque will make her series debut as Yvette, one of Sylvie's old friends.
Unfortunately, there were some departures. Camille Razat, who played Camille, Emily's friend and Gabriel's ex-girlfriend, left the cast.
What Will 'Emily in Paris' Season 5 Be About?
In the fifth season of Emily in Paris, the main character relocates from Paris to Rome. According to showrunner Darren Star, this change is intended to introduce new cultural challenges and dynamics, as well as expand the show's universe, paving the way for new storylines.
Despite the move, Paris will remain a significant part of the series, and some beloved characters will accompany Emily to Italy.
Emily is in a relationship with Marcello, but her complicated history with Gabriel is far from over. After receiving the coveted Michelin star, Gabriel is considering expanding his business, and his partners have hinted at opening a restaurant in Italy.
The fate of Emily's best friend, Mindy, also remains in the spotlight. Despite breaking up with her boyfriend and being unable to participate in Eurovision, she receives an invitation to judge a Chinese TV show.
However, promotional materials confirm that Mindy will not leave the project and will join her friend in her Italian adventures.
