Work on the fifth season of Emily in Paris is already in full swing. Now the series has reached an international level.
Last year, the heroine received an invitation to stay in Rome. A significant number of future episodes will be filmed there. In addition, the film crew will work in another Italian city.
Venice will become the new filming location for the fifth season of the popular series Emily in Paris. Filming will take place in the heart of the city from August 15 to 25 - literally on the eve of the opening of the Venice Film Festival, which starts on August 27 on the island of Lido.
Local authorities are delighted with this decision. Mayor Luigi Brugnaro and the head of the Veneto region Luca Zaia call this event an important recognition of Venice's attractiveness for world cinema. Now director Andrew Fleming, together with the local film commission and production company, are choosing the ideal locations for new episodes.
The film crew will meet a tight deadline - only 10 days to work in the historical center. Apparently, the creators of the series want to make it before the influx of tourists and movie stars who will come to the prestigious film festival.

In the new season of Emily in Paris, the main character will have a dizzying Italian adventure. She will swap Parisian boulevards for Roman streets, where she will not only have a career boost - the position of head of the Italian branch of Agence Grateau, but also romantic adventures with the charismatic heir to the fashion empire, Marcello.
The creator of the series, Darren Star, mysteriously hints that this is not a farewell to Paris forever - apparently, fans are still waiting for a return to the city. Netflix has already started filming in Italy on July 2, keeping fans in suspense - the premiere date remains a mystery.
