A perfect option for those not willing to go get more groceries.

Things like this happen to people busy with work and house chores quite often: you’re craving for something sweet after dinner, but there’s literally nothing in your kitchen to fulfil this crave with.

For these situations some have even come up with a recipe for the easiest cookies that ever existed, and their main advantage is that they don’t even require butter or complicated ingredients. It’s likely you already have everything you need, so check out the instructions below.

Here’s what you need: 2 eggs, 120 g of sugar, a pinch of salt, 2 g of vanilla extract, 80 ml of vegetable oil, 320 g of flour, 2 tablespoons of baking powder (heaped).

Crack 2 eggs into a bowl, add 120 g of sugar, 2 g of vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt. Beat with a mixer until the salt and sugar dissolve. Then pour in 80 ml of odorless vegetable oil and beat thoroughly once more (this is important for the fluffiness).

Add the flour in two stages: first a portion, then 2 tablespoons of baking powder (heaped), and then the remaining flour. Knead the dough first with a spoon, then with your hands. To prevent the dough from sticking to your hands, grease them with vegetable oil; the dough will be soft and slightly sticky.

Divide the dough into portions and roll into balls about 3 cm in diameter. Place the balls on a silicone-coated baking sheet. Bake in an oven preheated to 180°C for exactly 15 minutes, no longer, so the cookies don’t get hard.
