The Fast & Furious saga hits a speed bump as fans question bringing back Brian for the finale. Is CGI worth risking the perfect sendoff they already gave Paul Walker?

The Fast & Furious franchise has been around for over two decades now. After the 10th installment ending on a cliffhanger, we have a lot to look forward to. But the question is: is it really necessary?

‘Fast and Furious 11’ Will Likely Not Address a Huge Cliffhanger At All

The latest chapter ended on a cliffhanger with Dom and his son Little B. Fast & Furious 11 is happening and it's looking at a 2027 release year, which makes the cliffhanger look more ridiculous than ever.

The main issue: we're looking at a 4-year release window. The actor who played Little B will be too grown up to reprise the role from the place we were left at (at the bottom of the dam). So it's likely we're not getting to see how they outlived that one.

“Deliberately ending the franchise on a cliffhanger that is obviously setting something up so ridiculous as to be un-filmable would be a funny way to end a series like this,” Redditor beefcat_ wrote.

Vin Diesel Had 3 Major Rules for Continuing the ‘Fast and Furious’ Franchise

At Cody Walker's Fuel Fest, Vin Diesel dropped 3 major things that we will get in the finale.

“The first is to bring the franchise back to L.A. The second thing was to return to the car culture, to the street racing. The third thing was reuniting Dom and Brian O’Conner. That is what you’re going to get in the finale,” Diesel said.

Fans Are Not So Sure About Bringing Paul Walker's Brian Back

The Furious 7 crew pulled off an emotional miracle. They gave Brian the perfect sendoff and some viewers worry if bringing Brian back would be the right choice.

“Do they really do the marketing with Brian (Paul Walker) once again? Honestly I hate them for this stuff. Let him rest in peace and don’t try to earn money with him again and again. This series has become an absolute bs,” Redditor Reeneman shared.

“But it should’ve ended with 7 where they give farewell to Brian. And then they should’ve focus on spinoffs,” another fan, VincentVanHades on Reddit pointed out.

Do you think it’s a right move to bring Paul Walker's Brian back?
