The second season of Daredevil: Born Again, will premiere in spring 2026. The first season was one of the biggest superhero premieres of 2025.

When Will 'Daredevil: Born Again' Be Released?
Daredevil: Born Again was renewed for a second season even before the premiere of its first season. In February 2025, executive producer Brad Winderbaum announced that a second chapter to Born Again would air approximately one year later.
The second season of Daredevil: Born Again will premiere on March 4, 2026.
'Daredevil: Born Again' Release Schedule & Streaming Platform
The new season will consist of eight episodes, each about an hour long. The series will be available exclusively on Disney+.
It is currently unknown how the new episodes will be released. Disney+ may air one episode per week, as it did with the first season of Born Again, or release all episodes on the same day.
Does 'Daredevil: Born Again' Have a Trailer?
The debut trailer for the second season of Daredevil premiered at New York Comic Con in October 2025. Marvel Studios has yet to release the video on its social media. Nevertheless, unofficial recordings of the trailer and frame-by-frame recaps are already circulating online.
Currently, official content for the new season is limited to a single promotional photo depicting Daredevil in his classic superhero costume.
What Will the Second Season of 'Daredevil: Born Again' Be About?
In the second season, Matt Murdock, Karen Page, and Frank Castle continue fighting the Kingpin, who has seized power in the city. Daredevil will try to assemble a team of superheroes to help stop the Kingpin's lawlessness.
One of the season's highlights will be his collaboration with Jessica Jones, played by Krysten Ritter, a longtime friend of Daredevil's.
The storyline surrounding the fight against the Kingpin will likely not conclude in the second season, as Born Again has already been renewed for a third season. It is expected to premiere a year after the second season.
The second season of the show will be closely tied to the next major MCU project, Spider-Man: Brand New Day – Jon Bernthal's Punisher will appear in the fourth Peter Parker movie.
However, don't expect the plot of Brand New Day to feature many references to Daredevil. Brad Winderbaum explained that, although both projects are set in New York City, the movie and series tell two separate stories.
