The first season of Jack-of-All-Trades, Party of None, aired from January 1 to March 18, 2026. Immediately after its conclusion, a second season was officially announced.
However, no specific premiere date or approximate timeframe has been revealed yet. We anticipate that the upcoming chapter will be released no earlier than 2027-2028.
What Was 'Jack-of-All-Trades, Party of None' Season 1 About?
The main character, Orun Dula, fought alongside his childhood friend, Oliver Cardiff, in an elite squad for many years. For the sake of his friends, Orun transitioned from being a swordsman to being an enchanter – a support mage who developed his own magic to aid the team.
One day, however, Oliver kicked him out of the squad, believing his friend was underperforming and incapable of further advancement. To his surprise, the rest of the team sided with their leader.
Alone, depressed, and disillusioned, Orun decided to start over. His goal was to prove his worth to the world and himself by combining blade work with magical knowledge.
In the first season, he joins a new squad called Silver Rabbits, makes new friends, and single-handedly defeats a powerful black dragon. By the season finale, it becomes clear that Dula possesses a unique, sealed power and is somehow connected to the Cyclamen cult, which will become the main threat in Season 2.
What Will 'Jack-of-All-Trades, Party of None' Season 2 Be About?
Since the anime is based on a light novel, those familiar with the source material shouldn't expect any major surprises. In the second season, Orun faces a powerful new enemy: a cult called Cyclamen.
Not only will the hero have to fight this sinister organization, but he will also have to unravel the mystery of his own origins and the true nature of his powers.
The anime's creators have hinted that the girl in the yellow and purple kimono who was seen briefly in the final episode of the first season will play a key role in the upcoming chapter.
As for old acquaintances, Oliver and the other members of Orun's previous squad will likely reappear in the anime. However, their roles may change – perhaps the former friends will reunite in the face of a common threat, or conversely, become direct adversaries.
