Off Campus became a massive hit on Amazon Prime Video, with 36 million viewers tuning in during its first twelve days. Created by Louisa Levy and based on Elle Kennedy's book series, the show follows students at the fictional Briar University.
Amazon Prime Video has now renewed the series for a second season, which will feature new romantic twists and adventures. Here's everything we know about the upcoming season, including the release date, plot and cast.
When Will 'Off Campus' Season 2 Be Released?
Although Amazon Prime Video has not yet announced an official release date for the second season of Off Campus, it has confirmed that filming began on 1 June 2026.
Filming of the previous season took place between June and October 2025, with the season being released in May 2026. Fans are hoping that the second season will be released in spring 2027.
What Will 'Off Campus' Season 2 Be About?
Much like Bridgerton, the project's creators confirmed that each season of the show will focus on a new couple, with every season based on a book from Kennedy's series.
The first season was adapted from the novel The Deal and centred on the fake relationship between music student Hannah and hockey team captain Garrett.
For the second season, the showrunner has decided to focus on Allie Hayes, Hannah's best friend, and hockey player Dean Di Laurentis. In the book series, their story is told in The Score – although this is the third book chronologically, it's being adapted for the screen before the second book.
This decision stems from the cliffhanger ending of the first season finale, which revolved around a conflict between Dean and a long-time rival. However, the creators have reassured viewers that Hannah and Garrett will remain integral to the cast.
Who Is in the Cast of 'Off Campus' Season 2?
Ella Bright, Belmont Cameli, Mika Abdalla, Stephen Kalyn, Antonio Cipriano and Jalen Thomas Brooks will all be returning for the second season.
India Fowler has joined the cast to play Grace Ivers. Observant viewers may have spotted her in a brief scene in the first season and interpreted this as a hint about an upcoming storyline involving John Logan.
Another new character is Scarlett, a theatre director played by Phillipa Soo. Unfortunately, Josh Heuston, who played the musician Justin Kohl, will not appear in the new episodes. However, the showrunner has not ruled out his return in future seasons.
