The new chapter promises to be bigger and darker, with an expanded geography and new characters.
When Will 'The Gentlemen' Season 2 Be Released?
The first season of The Gentlemen premiered on Netflix on March 7, 2024 and it was renewed in August of that year.
The second season is set to premiere on September 3, 2026. As is standard practice on Netflix, the upcoming chapter is expected to contain eight episodes, likely all released on the same day.
What Will 'The Gentlemen' Season 2 Be About?

It has been a year since Eddie and Susie joined forces to help run Bobby's criminal enterprise abroad. As the enterprise has grown, Bobby's decisions have become increasingly questionable. Eddie and Susie must decide how to proceed.
Guy Ritchie revealed some details:
“This chapter sees a deliberate expansion, both geographically and thematically, as we journey from the English countryside to the Italian lakes.
Eddie and Susie find themselves navigating an increasingly volatile empire as they're besieged on all fronts by an influx of enigmatic new players. The stakes are heightened, the power dynamics are more precarious.”
Actor Theo James added that the second season will be darker than the first:
“We start season two of The Gentlemen, which is bigger and darker than season one. [...] As fun as the first season was, if you do the exact same thing again, it may not be as fun, essentially.
You want to be able to dive a little bit deeper in terms of character. It's still a comedy and it's still fun, but you need to layer it with more depth.”
Eddie's expansion in Season 2 will be opposed by the Italian mafia.
What Was 'The Gentlemen' Season 1 About?

The Gentlemen tells the story of British aristocrats and underworld figures. When Eddie Horniman unexpectedly inherits an estate, he also inherits an illegal marijuana farm and a host of associated problems.
He discovers that the estate is part of a cannabis empire, and numerous unsavory characters are vying to get their hands on it. Eddie aims to sell the toxic business owned by Bobby Glass.
However, his older brother Freddy, resentful at having been cut out of the inheritance, and criminals of all stripes stand in his way. By the end of the season, Eddie has changed his mind about the Glass empire and decides to participate in the auction to buy it.
He eliminates all potential rivals, only to learn that the auction was a ruse. Bobby never intended to sell the business – he simply wanted to see if Eddie and Susie could work together to take it over.
