When Will 'The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon' Be Released?
The series was officially renewed for a fourth season at San Diego Comic-Con in July 2025. It was also announced that filming of the project about one of the fan-favorite characters from The Walking Dead would begin in Spain that same month.
The release date for the episodes is currently unknown. However, the creators announced that there will be eight episodes, which is more than in any previous season.
Given that all previous seasons have been released annually, there's a high probability that the next chapter will premiere in 2026.

What Will 'The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon' Be About?
Currently, there is no detailed plot information about the new episodes. However, fans speculate that Daryl and Carol's story will conclude with their meeting with Rick Grimes, another character from the original show.
Nevertheless, Norman Reedus has said that the ending will differ from fan theories to surprise viewers.
Stephane Codron, who disappeared in the Season 2 finale, will certainly return in the new episodes and Romain Levi will play him once again. Showrunner David Zabel said:
“He has an awesome story in Season 4 throughout the season. He's in the whole season and it is awesome, and he's great. [...]
And I will say that there's a very powerful moving story that's sort of spiritual on a level that is ultimately the journey that gets him to find again, Daryl and Carol to sort of re-meet them.”
Carol, Daryl, and Stephane will likely devise a plan to return to the US with Antonio, Justina, and Roberto, their allies from Season 3.
Furthermore, the group may have to confront Fede, who is bent on revenge, or face new adversaries.

Norman Reedus, Melissa McBride, and Romain Levi have been confirmed to reprise their roles.
Season 3's key characters are also expected to appear in the finale, including Eduardo Noriega as Antonio, Candela Saitta as Justina, Hugo Arbués as Roberto, and Óscar Jaenada as Federico "Fede" de Rivera.
