What Happened in the Season 1 Finale of 'Fallout'?

In the Season 1 finale, Lucy delivered the scientist's head to the Moldaver raider lair. There, she found her father, Hank MacLean, in a cage. It turned out that the head could be used to extract an artifact for nuclear fusion.
Moldaver revealed the horrifying truth to Lucy: her father was a high-ranking Vault-Tec employee who orchestrated nuclear strikes against the US to eliminate competitors and profit from fear. Furthermore, Hank had personally ordered the destruction of the Shady Sands settlement, where his wife had fled.
A massive Brotherhood of Steel attack culminated in Moldaver's death and Hank's escape.
Having learned of MacLean's involvement in his family's fate, Ghoul and Lucy set out in pursuit. Meanwhile, Maximus unexpectedly received a promotion within the Brotherhood of Steel.
What Will 'Fallout' Season 2 Be About?

The second season will take place in the Mojave Desert and New Vegas. Lucy and Ghoul will head there in pursuit of Hank. The creators promise that Ella Purnell's character will undergo significant changes, though the specifics are being kept under wraps.
Viewers can also expect to delve into the history of the Vault-Tec corporation and its true intentions. The iconic Deathclaws, absent from the first season, will finally appear on screen.
Fans also expect the show to reveal more details about Cooper Howard's pre-war past and the fate of his family.
The second season ties the events of the series closely to the plot of Fallout: New Vegas without becoming a direct adaptation. The final shot of the first season shows Hank reaching New Vegas and hints that the city will become the epicenter of new intrigue.
