Fallout returns to our screens this December with Season 2. And it's official: Season 3 is happening.
During their upfronts, Prime Video not only announced that Fallout Season 2 is coming this December, but they have already greenlit Season 3.
“We're so grateful to have survived the apocalypse for another season! Thanks to the incredible team — our whole cast and crew, Kilter, and Amazon,” showrunners Graham Wagner and Geneva Robertson-Dworet said (via Deadline).
Fallout Is Changing the Game: A New Standard for Streaming
The post-apocalyptic saga first hit Amazon Prime Video on April 10, 2024 and quickly became a phenomenon that proved video game adaptations could be both faithful and uniquely fantastic.
Season 2 has already wrapped filming last week, with the cast. including main star Ella Purnell, sharing behind-the-scenes moments. And now we're looking at a December 2025 release date.
Just like another game adaptation hit, The Last of Us, Fallout received early renewal news before its next season aired. However, Fallout's Season 3 announcement came even earlier, a full six months before Season 2's premiere.
