Peacock’s The Office spinoff, The Paper, is set to premiere on September 4, 2025. This new series, set in Ohio and within the same universe as the beloved Steve Carell-led comedy, will initially release four episodes on its debut date. Following this, two new episodes will drop each Thursday through September 25, giving fans a steady stream of the show’s latest chapter.
The Paper offers a behind-the-scenes look at a struggling Midwestern newspaper called the Toledo Truth Teller. The series will be told through the perspective of a documentary crew, similar to how The Office was presented, providing an authentic and humorous lens on the newspaper’s decline.
The first four episodes will be available on Peacock starting September 4. While an official trailer has yet to be released, fans can look forward to insights from Steve Carell about why he isn’t involved in this new project but remains supportive of the series.
