The scene in question takes place four years in the future and gives us a glimpse of Franklin Richards, the son of Reed and Sue. Sue is reading to her son before briefly stepping away. When she returns, we see Doctor Doom holding Franklin's hand and his iconic mask.

The main issue: for a legendary character like Doctor Doom, many fans expected more exciting visuals and a more substantial scene. It is also suspiciously quiet and lacking that signature dramatic effect (especially for someone like Dr. Doom).

The fandom has quite a divisive opinion about the Doctor Doom scene. Some called out the scene as “underwhelming” and “low effort.”
“Probably not the final design but underwhelming to see this low effort as Doom’s first appearance in the MCU,” Redditor Krigge_music98 wrote.
“The suit looks horrendous thus far. Literally a downgrade from the RoSS suit, and that wasn't anything to write home about either. This better be a placeholder mask, because it's absolutely dreadful. What is this all smooth, plastic looking nonsense? However: some defended the scene, saying that teasers don't have to be groundbreaking.
