Fantastic Four Drops Full Trailer: Silver Surfer Finally Revealed
Brand new Fantastic Four trailer showed us their powers, wholesome brother-sister relationship (say hi to Sue and Johnny) and revealed our Silver Surfer.
This is not a drill! A new trailer for The Fantastic Four: First Steps is out now and it's better than I could've imagined.
All of the last versions (1994, 2005 and 2015) had their respective flaws. But this time I think we got it, folks. I really think we're actually getting that Fantastic Four we've been craving for all these years.
The Fantastic Four: First Steps New Trailer Sets Hopes High
The cinematography is just on another level. There wasn't a single frame that was out of place. The pacing is great too, and I think that's what we can expect from the movie as well.
I also appreciated the cast dynamic. They certainly do feel like a family and I couldn't be more excited to watch how they'll handle the Sue/Johnny sibling relationship. So far, it seems good and genuine.
Speaking of Johnny, Joseph Quinn 's character seems to be finally getting the spotlight he deserves. But did anyone else get the “Eddie from Stranger Things ” vibe? Yeah, thought so.
Silver Surfer Reveal and Powers of Fantastic Four on Full Display
We also finally got to see Julia Garner's Silver Surfer. And if I didn't know Garner was playing the role, I couldn't in a million years tell you that it was her.
Besides our female Silver Surfer, we also got to see powers of all four. Ben Grimm shows off his superhuman strength. Johnny is seen flying after Silver Surfer. Mister Fantastic stretches in some mind-blowing action sequence. And Sue generates a force field.

“The only thing that makes me a little worried is the Silver Surfer casting, not because I think the actress will do a bad job, but because the looming controversy surrounding it will probably be exhausting. I have mixed thoughts on that overall but we'll see how it goes. I've never really viewed the Silver Surfer as someone defined by their gender unlike other characters if that makes sense?” Redditor GoldenProxy shared.
