Stranger Things premiered back in 2016 and hasn't let go of us ever since. The show started as a nostalgic nod to 80s sci-fi and evolved into one of the most beloved shows of our generation. During these 9 years, we grew up alongside the cast and it's still mind-boggling to me how fast the time flew by.
Now, as we all wait for the final season coming out in 2025, there's a bittersweet feeling in the air. And while we don't even know the exact release date, the actors are starting to talk and give us just enough information to make us excited and kind of nervous at the same time.
Stranger Things Finale: Finn Wolfhard’s Ambiguous Response
In a recent interview with People, Finn Wolfhard shared his thoughts about Mike's ending:
“I was so happy with his ending, and I don't know, I was satisfied, but I was also very confused and sad, but also very happy. I felt like I was in a dream or something. None of it felt real. I don't know, it felt perfect.”
Happy but confused? Satisfied but sad? Now if that doesn't scream future emotional damage, I don't know what is. And the more I think about it, the more I'm convinced we're in for something that we're completely unprepared for.
I mean, this is the final season. They have to go all in. This includes maximum emotional impact, probably some devastating losses, and hopefully some truly epic moments that'll make us forget about the pain (at least temporarily).

When actors start using words like “confused” and “dream-like” to describe a show's ending, it's natural for fans to feel a bit nervous.
