The most important thing to remember here is that you should prioritize protein-rich ingredients while adding them to whatever dish you really like, and the famous tuna salad has been one of the best proofs of this point.

Apart from the fact that it’s easy to assemble, this salad will give your body a boost of energy and vitamins, so save the recipe for your next lunch or dinner.

Ingredients: 1 can of tuna fillets, 3 tablespoons of green peas, 2 fresh cucumbers, 30 g of green salad, 3 tablespoons of olives, 1 green apple, 1 tbsp of lemon juice, 2 tbsp of olive oil; green onion, cilantro, salt, pepper to your liking.

Start by making the dressing: mix 2 tablespoons of olive oil with 1 tablespoon of lemon juice, add a pinch of salt and pepper. If the tuna is already in oil, you don't need to use olive oil, just lemon juice.

Slice the fresh cucumbers and green apple. Chop the greens and tear the lettuce by hand. Then combine the cucumbers, apple, and greens in a bowl.

Drain the peas and tuna fillets from the cans. Split the tuna into pieces without chopping it too finely. Add to the cucumbers and greens along with the peas and olives, and mix gently.

Lastly, pour the prepared dressing over the salad, and it’s ready to be served.
