Forget Complicated Recipes! This One-Pan Savory Pork & Potato Roast Is Your New Weeknight Savior
The comfort food you’ve been looking for.
Many of us definitely need a cookbook with recipes that are easy enough to spend as less time in the kitchen after a hard day at work as possible.
Well, this pork and potato roast might soon become your new favorite thanks to its rich taste and simple list of ingredients. We also bet your family will be asking for more once you make it for dinner.
Here’s what you need: 300 g of pork (lean), 500 g of potatoes, 100 g of onions (2 onions), 200 g of sweet red bell pepper (1 pepper), 5 tablespoons of vegetable oil, 1 teaspoon of salt, 1 teaspoon of meat seasoning.
Peel and wash the potatoes and onions. Wash the meat thoroughly, pat it dry with a paper towel, and cut it into small pieces. Slice the potatoes into pieces about 3–4 mm thick, and cut the onions into half-rings. Rinse the bell pepper, remove the seeds and stem, and cut into strips.
In a frying pan over high temperature, heat the vegetable oil and add the pork, cooking until a crust forms. Then reduce the heat, season with salt, and add the meat seasoning. Add the potatoes to the meat and fry over low heat for about 10 minutes until lightly browned, adding a little oil if necessary.
Next, add the bell peppers and fry, stirring, for 3–4 minutes. Then add the onion and continue cooking for about 10 more minutes. When the potatoes and meat are tender and the onion is golden brown, the roast is ready.
