After this recipe, you’ll never even think of making fondue again.

This restaurant-quality dish is incredibly easy to make. While potato wedges roast to a golden crisp, a whole wheel of Brie is breaded and baked until the center turns into a rich, velvety pool of liquid gold.

Dipping piping-hot potatoes into the gooey cheese creates an addictive combination, while adding crispy bacon or smoky ham makes this comfort food a show-stopping centerpiece.

Ingredients: 5–6 potatoes, 1 slice of Brie cheese, 1 egg, 80–100 g of breadcrumbs, 80 g of ham, 80 g of bacon, 2 tbsp of oil, salt and pepper to taste.

Cut the potatoes into slices, season with salt and pepper, drizzle with oil, and bake in an air fryer or oven until golden brown.

Gently dip the slice of Brie in the egg, then coat it thoroughly in breadcrumbs to create a thick, crispy crust.

When the potatoes are almost done, place the Brie in the center of the dish and add the ham and bacon around it. Bake for another 5–10 minutes, until the cheese inside has melted and a golden crust has formed on top.

Before serving, carefully cut off the top of the Brie and dip the hot potatoes directly into the melted cream cheese.
