Freddy’s Back: What Makes the 'Five Nights at Freddy’s' Maze at HHN 2025 So Damn Scary

Dark animatronics, eerie sounds, and jump scares you won’t forget.
If you love scares and pop culture mashups like me, Halloween Horror Nights 2025 just got a whole lot more exciting. They’re bringing Five Nights at Freddy’s to life in a maze based on the 2023 film starring Josh Hutcherson as night guard Mike at Freddy Fazbear’s Pizzeria.
But don’t expect a kid-friendly pizza place — this is full-on horror.
The maze features incredible animatronics of Freddy, Chica, Bonnie, Foxy, and Mr. Cupcake, made by Jim Henson’s Creature Shop (yes, the same folks behind the film’s creepy costumes).
It’s set to drag us "into the black heart of an unspeakable nightmare," perfectly timed for the December release of Five Nights at Freddy’s 2. From what I’ve seen, the attention to detail here is next-level — these animatronics look seriously lifelike and terrifying.
I think this immersive approach will make the maze stand out as one of the scariest experiences HHN has ever offered. Honestly, for anyone who’s a fan of the games or films, missing this would be a real Halloween crime.
And for wrestling fans, HHN also offers "The Horrors of The Wyatt Sicks," a maze where you face Bo Dallas’ Uncle Howdy. If you followed Bray Wyatt’s eerie Firefly Funhouse saga, this tribute is a must-see.
