No need to get a delivery if your guests are only minutes away.

If you happen to divide your time between family and work, it’s likely you’ll recognize this feeling when friends are already on their way to dinner at your house, but merely had no time to prepare something else. In situations like this, a thought about getting something delivered usually pops up, but this pizza recipe can be an even better option.

Made with the simplest ingredients, everyone’s favorite Italian classics will be ready to serve in 20 minutes (apart from the dough kneading process) — you’ll be surprised by how quickly it will disappear from the table.

Here’s what you need: 150 g of flour, 3 g of dry yeast, 80 ml of warm water, 1 tbsp of vegetable or olive oil, 0.25 tsp of salt, 0.5 tsp of sugar, 2 tablespoons of ketchup, 100 g of sausage, 1 tomato, 60 g of bell pepper, 100 g of hard cheese, 25 g of butter, green spring onions to taste.

Pour warm water into a bowl, dissolve the sugar and yeast in it, and let it rest for a few minutes. Add vegetable oil and salt, then gradually add the flour and knead into a soft dough.

Shape the dough into a ball, cover it, and let it rise in a warm place for about 40 minutes.

Roll out the dough into a thin circle. Move it onto parchment paper and spread ketchup on top.

Arrange the sliced sausage, bell pepper pieces, and tomato slices, then add small pieces of butter. Sprinkle grated cheese evenly over the top.

Place in an oven preheated to 200°C and bake for about 15 minutes until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is completely melted.

Tip: don't overfill the dough with toppings; a thin layer makes the pizza tastier and ensures that it bakes evenly.
