'Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness' has just taken theaters by storm, with the movie earning a staggering half-billion dollars in a matter of days. However, despite an impressive box office success, it seems that some fans are not thrilled with the film's script, citing one particular scene as a major disappointment.

Warning! Spoilers ahead!

The MCU 's latest film changed the Scarlet Witch's (Elizabeth Olsen ) personality drastically, turning her into a villain, with Wanda mindlessly killing people in the most horrific way possible. In one infamous scene, she literally destroyed the Illuminati in seconds, leading fans to suspect the writers of foul play.

The fact is that the Illuminati, consisting of Doctor Strange, Mr. Fantastic, Professor X, Captain Marvel, Captain Carter, and Black Bolt from 'The Inhumans', were literally deciding the fate of humanity by combining their incredible powers to rule the Multiverse. So fans were very surprised when the Scarlet Witch wiped them out in mere seconds, leaving no survivors behind.

It is very strange (pun intended) that such mighty heroes could not defeat the powerful but still human Scarlet Witch. All the heroes could have used their superpowers to finish her off quickly, but for some reason they chose not to. Of course, fans were outraged that the all-powerful telepathic Professor X died without even giving her a mental blow, and the extremely intelligent Reed Richards didn't use his tactical skills to save himself from being turned into bloody spaghetti.

Fans are certainly disappointed with the film's script, which gave the main villain an impressive and somewhat undeserved advantage.
