In a nutshell, the movie follows Bull, your average good boy who's about to have a very bad day. After discovering he's scheduled for a trip to the vet, Bull decides this calls for one epic last hurrah. Him and his squad are getting ready for a wild night out with one major goal: confessing Bull's feelings to Honey (the dog next door).

From what’s been shown so far, the movie looks promisingly unhinged. It's as if American Pie and The Hangover met somewhere in the middle… in the dog world. Fixed will be great if you love bold and outrageous humor.

‘Fixed’ Depends on Physical Comedy, Director Says

Anyone familiar with the genre knows that physical comedy is an art form in itself. Fixed promises to have a lot of it. The film is the work of Genndy Tartakovsky, the mind behind hits like Samurai Jack and Hotel Transylvania.

“To me, these all have strong character humor as well as physical humor. So we tried to build funny personalities and interesting character dynamics and put them into situations where we can execute these principles in animation,” director told Tudum.

First Reviews Promises Success for ‘Fixed'

“It’s clear that ‘Fixed’ is, very much, a movie that is not for everyone. But those who do get on its particular wavelength will be rewarded by one of the most original and surprising animated features of the past few years,” The Wrap (Drew Taylor) wrote.

“A movie that’s not only comfortable being outrageous, but fairly original in how it goes about it,” Variety (Peter Debruge) pointed out.
