Hermione Actress Shares Full 'Harry Potter' Cast for Audible & Already Nails Iconic Line
Arabella Stanton is a perfect choice for Hermione, and the new glimpse into the Harry Potter audiobook has just proven that once more.
A fresh Harry Potter project is coming our way — and no, it’s not only HBO’s TV adaptation I’m talking about. All seven Harry Potter books will be brought to life once again by a full cast of over 200 voices, among whom are Hugh Laurie as Dumbledore and Matthew Macfadyen as Lord Voldemort.
But one thing it does share with the upcoming TV series: Arabella Stanton is set to voice young Miss Hermione Granger in the first three audiobooks, just like she will portray Hogwarts’ brightest witch in HBO’s TV saga.
In her official Instagram account, Stanton shared a preview that teases the main voices, hers included. In the outtake, she is heard voicing one of Hermione’s most iconic mic drops:
“"Now, if you two don't mind, I'm going to bed before either of you come up with another clever idea to get us killed or worse… expelled!"
This line comes from “Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone”.

Among other voice actors are Riz Ahmed as Professor Snape and Michelle Gomez as Professor McGonagall. The books will be narrated by Cush Jumbo. Stanton as Hermione will be joined by Frankie Treadaway and Max Lester as Harry and Ron.
“Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone” audiobook will be released on Tuesday, November 4, 2025 as a project for Audible and Pottermore Publishing. Other books will follow with monthly worldwide releases.
The HBO series doesn’t have a scheduled release date yet, expected to hit screens in 2027.
