Now that Landman is over, we need Lioness to come back.

Taylor Sheridan kept himself busy with the development of 4 shows at a time last year, with one of them coming to its definite end and others, well, just waiting till their fate is determined.

Now that Sheridan’s hit series Yellowstone is officially over, he has time to focus on other big projects like Paramount's Landman, Tulsa King, and Lioness — the latter in particular, since the show’s future was kind of confirmed by its cast’s lead months ago.

Zoe Saldaña Is Ready to Be Back for Lioness’ Season 3

The actress, who in the series portrays CIA officer Joe McNamara, is more than eager to return to the story after the second season ended back in December — not only due to the show being a compelling project she loves working on, but also because she initially agreed on it.

In an interview with Vanity Fair, Saldaña revealed that she “signed up for three seasons at least, and so you do have a sort of contractual obligation to fulfill.”

However, the whole thing doesn’t only boil down to formal agreements as the actress also added that she’d been lucky to join Lioness to eventually collaborate with a talented filmmaker like Sheridan.

According to Saldaña, “Sheridan is sort of like this cowboy that lives on his own off the grid, and that makes a lot of us curious. Either you get the cadence of his writing and the themes that he wants to always talk about, or you don’t.”

Those who have been frequently visiting the Paramount+ platform can confirm that it shouldn’t be over yet for either of Sheridan’s running series, which include Lioness, Tulsa King, and Landman.

Starting with obvious statements, the latter’s first season ended on a major cliffhanger suggesting that some characters, including Demi Moore’s underrated Cami, will now have more weight in the show.

Lioness’ second instalment, in its turn, also left many questions unanswered, though, just like in Landman’s case, nothing has yet been said about a potential new season.

Things are slightly different with Tulsa King, the third and the fourth seasons of which, as well as a mysterious spin-off, are already in the works.
