What Does 'Demon Slayer' Consist Of?
The Demon Slayer franchise began as a manga series published in the Japanese magazine Weekly Shonen Jump.
From 2016 to 2020, the author, Koyoharu Gotouge, published his manga series, releasing a total of 23 volumes of this fantasy story. Demon Slayer was animated by the Japanese studio Ufotable.
The anime adaptation began in 2019. The first season quickly gained popularity, receiving an 8.6/10 score from IMDb users.
Currently, the anime has four seasons and one animated movie. Three more full-length projects are being prepared for release to complete Tanjiro's story.

Tanjiro now wants to protect her at all costs and turn her back into a human. To do so, he must become a professional demon slayer.
2. 'Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Movie: Mugen Train', 2020
Tanjiro Kamado and his two friends, Zenitsu and Inosuke, who also hunt demons, receive a new mission.
Alongside the Flame Hashira, Kyojuro Rengoku, they must investigate a mysterious train from which several dozen people have disappeared. All of the demon slayers previously dispatched to investigate were killed.
A year after the release of the full-length anime, the creators released the seven-episode version of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Movie: Mugen Train. These episodes are the first part of Season 2, titled the Entertainment District Arc.

3. 'Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Entertainment District Arc', 2021-2022

4. 'Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Swordsmith Village Arc', 2023

After a tough battle in the Entertainment District, Tanjiro realizes that he needs a new katana. To obtain a new weapon and heal his wounds, the main character and his younger sister go to the village of blacksmiths.
The Mist Hashira, Muichiro Tokito, and the Love Hashira, Mitsuri Kanroji, come to the village for the same reason. Despite the village's remote location deep in the mountains, the demons manage to find it. In the place where hunters' swords are forged, a new bloody battle begins.
5. 'Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Hashira Training Arc', 2024

To confront the Twelve Demon Moons, led by Muzan Kibutsuji, Tanjiro and his friends must gain experience and improve their endurance.
All hunters are sent to training, where the strongest demon slayers will be their mentors. The young hunters must undergo intense training with each Hashira to prepare for the upcoming battle.
6. 'Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Movie: Infinity Castle', 2025
The three movies concluding the Demon Slayer story will be the adaptations of the Infinity Castle and Sunrise Countdown arcs.
The final battle between the slayers and the demons will be epic. By the end of the fourth season, the characters have found Muzan and were ready to destroy him. However, Muzan's minion transferred everyone to the Infinity Castle, a location consisting of endless rooms, stairs, halls, and constantly changing corridors.
The usual laws of physics do not apply in this castle, and the sun's rays never reach it, so the demons are safe there.
When Will 'Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Movie: Infinity Castle' Be Released in the US?
Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Movie: Infinity Castle was already released in Japan, where it is currently at the top of the box office. In the US, it is scheduled for theatrical release on September 12, 2025.
