The Hunger Games ’ movie franchise is officially getting expanded by a prequel film Sunrise on the Reaping, coming roughly three years after the release of 2023’s The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes.
The future movie will delve into the story of Haymitch Abernathy, Katniss Everdeen’s mentor and the 50th Hunger Games’ winner, also drawing some more parallels with the original trilogy on the way.
