American sniper Levi struggles with PTSD, depression, and other consequences of his long service. He accepts a high-ranking official's offer to become the guardian of a mysterious gorge.
Only a select few know the location. For the next year, Levi must inspect the fortifications near the gorge and report the situation to his superiors. One important rule is that communicating with the guardian in the tower on the opposite side of the gorge is strictly prohibited.
Levi's colleague is Drasa, a Lithuanian mercenary who recently lost her father. Loneliness brings the two people together, and they soon encounter the true evil hidden within the gorge.

In the near future, hordes of aliens attack Earth. Distraught human troops resist as best they can, but ultimately, the battle goes badly for them. No army in the world can stand against the aliens.
Major William Cage finds himself on the front lines, dies alongside one of the aliens – and becomes trapped in a time loop. After each death, he awakens and begins his final day anew, gaining experience and combat skills.
Each repeated battle brings him closer to discovering how to defeat the enemy. The experienced warrior Rita helps him prepare for the conditions necessary for victory.
4. 'Boss Level', 2020
IMDb Score: 6.8/10

Every morning, Roy Pulver begins with gunshots, explosions, and assassination attempts. In between battles, he must learn to handle a bladed weapon, reconcile with his son, and, of course, ultimately save the world.
Until then, he is forced to kill and die in increasingly sophisticated ways.
To some extent, this movie echoes the general fatigue of repetitive action scenes in which the good guy corners the bad guy. However, the result is a thoroughly muscular and tense action movie without unnecessary revelations.
5. 'Tron: Ares', 2025
IMDb Score: 6.2/10

Julian Dillinger, the CEO of Dillinger Systems, has invented a special laser similar to a 3D printer. This device enables AI soldiers to appear in reality for a limited time to perform militaristic tasks.
Ares, a powerful AI, leads the squad and is tasked with eliminating Eve Kim, the head of the rival company ENCOM, and obtaining a crucial code to ensure the robots' permanent deployment.
However, Eve and Ares soon find themselves on the same side, which completely disrupts Dillinger's plans.
