If You Can’t Wait for The Studio’s Next Episode, Watch This Adam Scott Comedy Series With 94% RT Score

Seth Rogen’s highly anticipated Hollywood-ish comedy series has just debuted on Apple TV+.
With March getting closer to its end, long-awaited releases of this month on streamers are finally there, and Apple TV+ ’s new comedy show is one of the most exciting new arrivals to follow during the upcoming several weeks.
Created by and starring Seth Rogen, The Studio has just debuted on the streamer’s platform with two first episodes, giving the first glimpse into the inner world of a Hollywood movie studio and its new head’s attempts to save it from a possible collapse.
However, with only one episode scheduled for a release per week, The Studio now isn’t coming back until April 2, but there’s another similar option starring Apple TV+’s other big star.
Adam Scott’s Party Down Is a Great Addition to The Studio
If you’re eager to have another sneak peek into what the cinema industry looks like from the inside, another show from more than 15 years ago might be a perfect choice when it comes to TV picks resembling Seth Rogen’s The Studio.
Starring Severance ’s lead actor Adam Scott, Party Down offers its viewers a different perspective, showing some wannabe actors and writers make a living at a posh Los Angeles catering company while waiting for a breakthrough offer from Hollywood.
Each episode delves into the characters’ hardships on the way to making the biggest dream come true, all the while keeping up with their current job and meeting prominent figures at new events they have to cater.
Party Down Was an Unfairly Scrapped Hit Series
After kicking it off with two successful consecutive seasons, Party Down was suddenly shut down with, reportedly, the influence of many factors, starting from declining ratings and ending with Adam Scott’s active participation in Parks and Recreation, another ongoing hit series at the time.
Party Down then returned with a 6-part season 3 premiering in 2023, yet nothing has been heard about the show’s full-mode revival ever since.
On Rotten Tomatoes, the series keeps impressive scores of 94% and 90% from critics and audiences, serving as another reminder of a shameful decision to wrap things up with just two complete seasons.
Party Down’s three seasons are currently streaming on Fandango at Home.
