Disney+ series is going through a serious controversy right now: 'Kenobi' creative team accuses fans of racism, while they claim that Moses Ingram's character is flat, two-dimensional and just plain boring to watch.

The Third Sister, also known as Reva, is a brand-new character developed for the 'Obi-Wan Kenobi ' series, and actress Moses Ingram feared even before the project's release that some racist fans might not take her approach to playing the Inquisitor lightly, especially given Reva's key role in the entire 'Star Wars ' universe. She turned out to be right, as many viewers have expressed their dislike of the villainous character, claiming that she seems underdeveloped and shallow compared to the likes of Kenobi, Darth Vader and Owen Lars. But is Reva really that bad?

Many Reddit fans believe this to be true, supporting their opinion with a number of rather solid-sounding proofs – from her underwhelming costume design to her poorly written dialogues.

She isn't menacing at all. Her dialog isn't powerful. Her suit is boring. Totally unobstructed face/head while everyone else around her has a helmet or some kind of unique facial feature. She's boring. – /Mytimetosleepgn.

But on the other hand, quite a few 'Star Wars' franchise's fans are willing to give Reva more time to find her footing, especially in light of the popular theory suggesting that Reva was one of the Jedi younglings ambushed by the clone troopers early in the series, and that her tough as nails demeanor and aversion to all things Jedi stemmed from that traumatic memory. If this turns out to be true, Reva will finally get satisfactory character development, which will definitely put an end to all the complaints about her.

I think the very first shot of episode one is supposed to be Reva. If she was at temple she is going to have a good idea of what went down. Not to mention she clearly has a gift for reading minds. – /revjiggs.

Even without that, some fans are already interested in the internal dynamics between the Inquisitors, which the series shows mostly through the Third Sister. Reva may be a very unsatisfying villain to watch, but she as a character is another matter entirely.

I love the infighting between them. I'm very interested in their story. I hope we see a little more of the Inquisitor drama in later episodes. I like how they bully her because then I can now understand WHY she acts so tough & overly aggressive. She gets bullied so then she bullies those lesser than her. – /Ricozilla.

Some fans believe that the general dislike for Reva is not really racism, since popular 'Star Wars' characters like Giancarlo Esposito 's Moff Gideon and Samuel L. Jackson 's Mace Windu are loved by almost everyone.

No one's calling The Mandalorian fans racist when Moff Gideon was in it. This is because The Mandalorian is actually good. – @BrookIT2.
