Is Scarlet Witch in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, Or Is Marvel Messing With Us?
Are we all being relentlessly Wanda-baited?
It looks like there is a clandestine new trick at Marvel: every time a new trailer is released, just add some red flashes in, and people will think that Scarlet Witch is going to be in the movie.
Even if that's nothing short of a speculation, this is exactly what happened with the first trailer for Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania that was released on Monday.

Naturally, the mere fact of something red flashing in the trailer does not mean that Wanda Maximoff is indeed back... or does it?
"At this point Marvel is including red clips in their trailer so you can tweet this," Twitter user honeymoron noted.
Others angrily noted that "they know exactly what they're doing". Well, true: after WandaVision and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, Wanda has been enjoying a huge amount of fan love.
People seem to be ready to root for her even if she is up to actual atrocities. However, at the end of Multiverse of Madness, Scarlet Witch admitted that she waa corrupted by the Darkhold and buried herself under the debris of the Wundagore castle.
This, of course, does not necessarily mean that she's gone for good. Elizabeth Olsen has played coy about the future of her character, and fans keep rallying for Scarlet Witch to secure her solo movie... or at least appear in someone else's film once again.
To see whether she is actually in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, we'll have to wait until it premieres in theaters on February 17, 2023.
