The actress revealed that she had recently watched Paul Thomas Anderson's One Battle After Another and called it the greatest film she had ever seen:

“This is the best movie I've ever seen. This is One Battle After Another. [...]

When it was over, everyone applauded. I just kept thanking my husband over and over and over again because he had booked the tickets, like two weeks in advance, and I just couldn't say anything else other than just like, thank you for that experience.”

Lawrence said that the movie had such a powerful impact on her that she doesn't recall ever having such an emotional response to any other film.

Paul Thomas Anderson admitted that he spent nearly two decades working on the script. Although the film is partially based on Thomas Pynchon's novel Vineland, it also incorporates Anderson's own ideas, such as a story about a bounty hunter and a plot involving a young female activist.

The script underwent constant rewrites and eventually reached 600 pages. This lengthy refinement process yielded a multilayered work combining action, generational drama, and a political statement.

With a budget of approximately $150 million, One Battle After Another became Anderson's most expensive project, comparable to the sum spent on his previous five films combined.
