Joey Tribbiani’s Favorite: How to Make the Iconic "Eggs à la Chandler" That Stole the Show
An option for your perfect breakfast accompanied by one of Friends’ episode.
Covering the everyday life of six friends throughout years, the iconic TV show Friends has introduced quite a bunch of now not less iconic recipes which fans keep recreating to this day. Those also include "Eggs à la Chandler”, a breakfast meal created by Joey Tribbiani which consists of a fried egg cooked inside a hole in a slice of sourdough bread.
You can also improve the original recipe by adding some pesto sauce made at home or brought from the grocery store.
Here’s what you need: a slice of bread for toast, 1 egg, 40 g of butter, pesto sauce, salt.
Cut a hole in the center of the slice of bread using a glass or a special cookie cutter. Spread butter on both sides of the slice.
Place the bread in a preheated skillet. Put a little butter in the hole in the bread, then carefully pour an egg into it. Season with salt and fry over medium heat on both sides.
Serve the egg in bread with pesto sauce or just as it is.
