The seventh episode of the third season of Jujutsu Kaisen was content-rich but action-light. It featured the main antagonist's eerie tenderness, another lecture on the rules of the Culling Game, and a brief but visually engaging fight.

Who Is That Girl Kenjaku Visits in the Beginning of the Episode & What Does He Say to Her?

Kenjaku visits Setsuko Sasaki, a school friend of Yuji's from the occult club and the same girl we saw in the first episode of the anime.

In a soft, almost fatherly voice, he tells her that her home is now within the Culling Game barrier and lets her choose whether to stay or leave. Then, he takes Setsuko by the hand and leads her outside the colony, thanking her for being a friend for her son before they part ways.

This gesture seems absurd, given what we know about Kenjaku. But remember, we were shown that his brain was transplanted into Yuji's mother's body – a woman with the same scar on her forehead.

This means that Kenjaku is Yuii's biological father. His strange concern for his son's school friend has at least a formal explanation, even if it doesn't resolve the moral questions.

Yuji and Megumi & Kenji and Panda's Missions Inside the Colony

The main characters are preparing for an invasion – their goal is to find two key players in the Culling Game. Angel, an ancient sorcerer incarnated in the body of a girl named Hana Kurusu, must open the Prison Realm to free Satoru Gojou. Kinji and Panda have been sent to retrieve her.

Hiromi Higuruma, a lawyer who has already accumulated a hundred points in the game, interests the characters as a potential ally and source of points for introducing new rules. Yuji and Megumi set out to find Hiromi.

The New Rule about the Colonies

After crossing the barrier, they encounter a new rule: players are randomly transported to one of nine entry points. Yuji immediately encounters a pair of sorcerers with propeller-like hairstyles.

Their battle is the only action-packed scene of the episode. It is short and visually engaging but completely unsatisfying after the large-scale battles of previous episodes.
