Stuck in development hell for quite some time, 'The Flash' finally popped up at CinemaCon this year, with Warner Bros. showing off some exclusive footage from the upcoming film.

Barry Allen's (Ezra Miller ) travels through the DC multiverse will be at the center of the plot, with Flash meeting many versions of himself and his colleagues in the process. Ben Affleck is set to return as Batman, but it was the other famous Gotham defender who was heavily showcased in the CinemaCon footage – Michael Keaton.

According to Screen Rant, Keaton's Batman will be at the center of the upcoming film. The gray-haired crusader was seen riding Batcycle in slow-motion, showing Barry his suit collection and quoting himself from 1989 'Batman' – "You want to get nuts? Let's get nuts." The nostalgia factor is sure to be in full swing for some DC fans, as General Zod, once again played by Michael Shannon, appears in the exclusive footage. The CinemaCon showcase also offered the first look at Supergirl, played by Sasha Calle.

But it looks like recent Ezra Miller's Hawaii controversies have put a serious damper on the fandom's reaction to the upcoming film, with many fans saying they will not watch 'The Flash ' under any circumstances.

'The Flash' will arrive to theatres on June 23, 2023.
