11 Funniest 'Parks and Recreation' Moments That Will Never Get Old

Parks and Recreation may have ended its run 10 years ago, but I still find myself going back to the show. Here are my top 11 most hilarious scenes that never fail to make me laugh.
Parks and Rec has been my go-to comfort show for many years. Narrowing down the funniest moments from seven seasons of comedy gold was nearly impossible. But through multiple rewatches of the show, as well as numerous play-throughs of my favorite episodes, these are the top 11 moments I absolutely always look forward to seeing again.
1. Leslie's Memoirs: Season 1, Episode 1
Leslie: From time to time, when I think of an eloquent saying or a phrase, I have Tom write it down. He's collecting them for my memoirs.
Tom: Here's Leslie's quote from Wednesday.
Episode 1 of Parks and Recreation is one of the most successful introductions to the series out there. Right from the get go, the show established its core comedy style.
When Leslie asks Tom to write down her wise and over-the-top thoughts, he does it in the most Tom Haverford fashion ever. He just doodles on the paper instead of actually writing what she told him to.
2. Snake Juice Disaster: Season 3, Episode 13
Tom throws a wild party where everyone gets completely wasted on his new drink, Snake Juice. The best part of the whole night is probably Ron dancing to Flo Rida. However, it would be criminal not to mention the hangover everybody (except Ron) had the next morning.
3. “Get on Your Feet” Campaign: Season 4, Episode 11
One of the funniest scenes is Leslie's campaign event where everything goes hilariously wrong. Everybody screwed up (except Jerry) and it led to a series of unfortunate events. Though arguably the funniest mistake was made by Tom, who didn't have enough money to buy enough “luxurious” carpet to reach the stage. Consequently, the entire team had to walk on ice to reach the platform. Watching them fall while “Get on Your Feet” played in the background gets me every single time.
4. Ben's Breakdown: Season 4, Episode 11
Ben: Do you think a depressed person could make this?
Yes Ben, yes we do. Chris visits Ben’s place only to find he is obsessed with bizarre hobbies he's not even good at. The moment that kills me is when Ben proudly shows off his claymation masterpiece that took him THREE WEEKS to make. And it's literally three seconds of a clay figure barely even moving.
5. Chris Gets the Flu: Season 3, Episode 2
Chris (to himself in the mirror): Stop. Pooping.
Even the indestructible Chris Traeger falls victim to the flu epidemic that hits Pawnee. The man who is obsessed with his health and living to be 150 years old wasn't looking good in that episode. Luckily though, he made it through.
Fun fact: Rolling Stone ranked this episode #30 in their 100 Best TV Episodes of All Time list.
6. Treat Yo Self: Season 4, Episode 4
Donna: Uh oh, Batman's crying.
The whole concept of the Treat Yo Self day is a lot of fun, but when you add Ben into the mix makes it perfect. Nothing beats watching him join Tom and Donna for their annual tradition.
After being dragged along on their shopping spree, Ben finally gets into the spirit by trying on a Batman costume, only to break down crying while wearing it. Tom and Donna's reaction is priceless, of course.
7. April's Wine Tasting Showdown: Season 6, Episode 19
April: I wanted to make fun of stupid people while I get druk. My two true passions.
April (some time later): Thank you so much, everyone. I think we can agree that all wine tastes the same, and if you spend more than $5 on wine, you are very stupid.
Thanks to Donna, April enters a wine-tasting contest for all the wrong reasons. She's there to mock pretentious people while getting drunk. The cherry on top is April's little monologue at the end.
8. Ben Doesn't Get Li’l Sebastian: Season 3, Episode 7
Ben: I just gotta be honest, I don't know what the big deal is.
Leslie: Get out.
Ben commits the ultimate Pawnee sin by not understanding the hype around Li’l Sebastian. The confusion on his face is priceless as he tries to figure out why everyone is offended by him saying that.
9. Tom's Latin Plant Names: Season 2, Episode 2
Tom: Whenever Leslie asks me for the Latin names of any of our plants, I just give her the names of rappers.
Leslie's impressed with Tom's knowledge of plant names. Little does she know, he's making them up as they speak.
10. Leslie in the Pit: Season 1, Episode 1
I'm sure even your friends who haven't watched Parks and Rec have seen the memes of Leslie at the bottom of that pit. When she falls in and gives a thumbs up from down there, you know that history has been made.
11. Jen Barkley Is Child-Free: Season 7, Episode 7
Jennifer: I'm just gonna go spend my time doing exactly what I wanna do because I don't have children!
Jennifer Barkley living her best child-free life is absolutely hilarious. And the delivery is just another reason to love Kathryn Hahn even more.
