Millions of fans eagerly await news from Disney regarding the future of the beloved animated franchise, and it looks like Kristen Bell has finally provided them.

'Frozen' earned more than a billion dollars upon releasing back in 2013, and the sequel, released in 2019, did not disappoint at the box office either. With merchandise sales certainly approaching a couple of billion and a generation of kids raised on the beloved winter tale, Disney will surely succeed in producing a threequel. So, the studio's reluctance to officially announce a third installment coming in the near future has certainly worried fans of Elsa and Olaf. But now it looks like fans should finally calm down, as Kristen Bell, who voiced Anna in both parts of 'Frozen', shared some encouraging news.

During a recent appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Bell made the surprise announcement that 'Frozen 3' is definitely happening. Or is it?

"I would like to officially announce, with zero authority, 'Frozen 3'. I know Idina recently said she would do it. And I feel like if we're all in, what are we waiting for?" Bell said.

Yep, it looks like the actress just decided to tease fans' expectations by announcing the project without any actual proof. And while it's nice to hear that both major stars have agreed to make another animated movie in the future, an official confirmation from Disney would have been much nicer. However, some fans believe that Bell's joking statement could mean some major announcement in the coming months.

"Without official announcement from Disney, there's no indication that there will be a Frozen 3 but, at least, Idina and Kristen agree that they both really want to return as the voices of Elsa and Anna. Almost all fans are hoping for a Frozen 3. Tell yourself that the answer could be known in less than 3 months at D23, which is fast approaching." - /Disneyanalyser.
