Legendary Martial Arts Actor Brings Next-Level Fight Scenes to 'Spider-Man: Brand New Day'
Fans can expect breathtaking stunts and expertly choreographed action sequences.
I love hearing when true action legends get involved in blockbuster films, and Jackie Chan just confirmed he’s lending his expertise to Spider-Man: Brand New Day.
The actor revealed in an interview with HK01 that his iconic stunt team, founded in 1976, is guiding the film’s action sequences. Chan even visited the set in London to check out rehearsals and work closely with the cast and crew.
"My Jackie Chan Stunt Team was busy filming Spider-Man, and I was the action director for the Jackie Chan Stunt Team. I went to watch their rehearsals, and the director was so excited when he saw me," Chan said.
Knowing Chan’s track record — from Police Story to Rumble in the Bronx — I have no doubt the fight scenes will be next-level.
The Jackie Chan Stunt Team, made up of martial arts experts from around the world, has already elevated big films like Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, so I’m genuinely excited to see what they bring to Spider-Man. Personally, I’m counting down the days to watch these stunts in action.
