Thanks to some additional ingredients, your potatoes will taste like nothing else in this world.

It’s no secret that potatoes have long been one of the best side dishes to be discovered, whether it’s mashed, fried or simply boiled. However, at some point preparing them in the same way again and again can become way too dull, so it’s time to dive deep into new recipes in case you’ve been feeling like this.

This recipe for potatoes prepared in a Greek way might be just the solution you needed all along — just add some authentically Greek ingredients, and you’re all set.

Here’s what you need: 900 g of young red potatoes, 450 g of crumbled feta cheese, 80 g of butter, 0.75 cups of milk, 0.25 cups of chopped dill, the same amount of parsley and green onions, salt, ground black pepper, fresh oregano.

Peel the potatoes while they’re still in their skins, then boil them in salted water until tender. Drain them, but keep the skins on.

Right in the pot, mash the potatoes with a fork until smooth, then add butter and milk. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Add cheese and herbs to the potatoes. Stir everything together, and that’s it.
