It’s time to turn your ordinary chicken dinners into something your family will ask for every night.

Chicken dishes have been long considered a base for a healthy dinner at home, but sometimes those recipes can seem repetitive and, quite frankly, annoying. However, there’s no need to look for something completely new to make your mealtimes more versatile: all you need is just to try to wrap your chicken in, well, pastry. No worries, the explanation will follow.

Here’s what you need: chicken legs, soy sauce, honey, garlic, salt, pepper, seasoning to your taste, puff pastry, 1 egg

Rinse and dry the chicken legs, then rub them thoroughly with a mixture of soy sauce, honey, garlic, salt, pepper, and chicken seasoning. The soy sauce will intensify the flavor of the meat, while the honey will help form a delicious crust.

Marinating takes about 15-20 minutes, which is enough to saturate the flavor. After that, quickly fry the legs in a well-heated pan with a minimum amount of oil to preserve the juices and give the meat flavor.

If necessary, roll out the puff pastry slightly and divide it into equal squares. Place each fried and slightly cooled leg in the center of the pastry and wrap it carefully, forming a tight envelope or roll.

Place the prepared legs seam-side down on a baking sheet, brush with a beaten egg, and bake in an oven preheated to 200°C for 20-25 minutes. The dough will rise and become brown, and the chicken inside will be fully cooked while remaining juicy.
