Love Is Blind season 11 Boston: full cast and episode schedule — Netflix drops five episodes at once, then rations the rest week by week

Love Is Blind season 11 premiered October 14 with its first five episodes, and the rest arrive on a strict Wednesday diet, per Netflix's Tudum:

• October 14: Episodes 1–5 (the pods and the engagements)
• October 21: Episodes 6–8
• October 28: Episodes 9–11
• November 4: Episode 12, the weddings
• November 8: The reunion

Episodes drop at the usual 3 a.m. ET on Wednesdays. The reunion is the exception worth noticing: it lands on a Sunday at 9 p.m. ET — prime time, with Netflix taking RSVPs for a watch party ahead of the release. Nick and Vanessa Lachey host, again.

The Boston of it all

This is the first season to bring the pods to Boston, with 30 singles — 14 men, 16 women, ages 28 to 40. Netflix's named cast so far includes Wilnie Louis, Mark Colantonio, Benita Paloja, John Shannon, Rachel Aukema, and Amenawon Iman Johnson.

The bios are doing the regional flavor work. Among the men: a yacht captain who has crossed the Atlantic twice, a boxer moonlighting as a bouncer at a Southie bar, and a beekeeper with an 8-year-old son. Among the women: a biotech engineer, an orthodontist, a NICU nurse — and an entrepreneur whose stated rule is that she doesn't date Boston men, which is a bold thing to bring into a pod wall with nothing but Boston men behind it.

One cast member's dating rule is "no Boston men." The casting pool on the other side of the wall is 14 Boston men.

The schedule strategy, decoded

The 5-3-3-1 rollout is the franchise's now-standard compromise between binge and appointment TV: a big enough opening batch to hook you through the engagements, then weekly rationing so the weddings can't be spoiled on day one. The four-day gap between the November 4 finale and the November 8 reunion is the tell — it's built so the altar verdicts have a weekend to detonate on social media before the cast has to answer for them in prime time.
