Fresh off his scene-stealing stint on The White Lotus, Patrick Schwarzenegger is heading straight into the heart of a romantic drama — and, no surprise, it’s already generating serious buzz.
Titled Love of Your Life, the Amazon MGM Studios project pairs Schwarzenegger with Margaret Qualley (Maid, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, Substance ) in what promises to be a tearjerker with serious pedigree. According to The Holywood Reporter, Qualley plays a young widow attempting to piece her life back together after the devastating loss of her husband. Enter Schwarzenegger as the old friend and ex — a role ripe with emotional complexity and second-chance yearning.
It’s the actor’s first major role since White Lotus season 3 aired in April, a breakout moment that firmly placed him on Hollywood’s radar. But let’s not pretend the name didn’t already ring a few bells: Patrick is, of course, the son of action legend Arnold Schwarzenegger and journalist Maria Shriver.
