The best Marvel TV series of 2022 might actually surprise you.

Rotten Tomatoes has released its own ranking of the best TV shows released in 2022 — and the MCU projects appear to have secured several places in the list. However, the way they were scattered among other shows appeared to ignite a firestorm on Twitter.

Among the Marvel shows that were included in the list were She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, Moon Knight, and Ms. Marvel. And you might be surprised to know that Ms. Marvel has ascended to #28, with She-Hulk and Moon Knight trailing behind on spots #77 and #87 respectively.

Such ranking has prompted heated debates online, with some people furious about Moon Knight being placed so low, and others not getting what exactly made Ms. Marvel rise so high — or how She-Hulk manage to outrun Moon Knight.

"At least [Moon Knight] had a plot throughout the 6 episodes it had [She-Hulk] has 8 and hasn't had a plot until the last 2 episodes," Twitter user Ganagram78 argued.

Some fans, on the contrary, would have liked to see Moon Knight placed even lower, arguing that it was "the worst of the worst MCU projects along with Loki. "

The One Aquaman Line Jason Momoa Absolutely Hated

Other fans argue that all three shows are not as successful as they could be, suggesting that the only reason people watch Marvel TV shows is to "keep up with the whole marvel universe and characters rather than hanging to see next week's episode."

"The cast is great but the whole 'let's make superheroes fun without consequences' angle isn't as engaging as other series," Twitter user Reviews25 said.

With Better Call Saul being placed on #21, the show's fans went furious because of the fact that Ms. Marvel is just 7 points behind.

As Marvel fans argue about the three shows, the first spot is enjoyed by Netflix 's Heartstopper, which is followed by Barry, Hacks, and Bad Sisters. All these shows enjoy 100% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, with the same being true for the rest of the shows that occupy the first 20 spots of the list.

Dwayne Johnson Shades DCEU for Cavill's Superman Treatment

The goal of She-Hulk is still celebrated by its fans, because the show appeared to have secured a place in the list even despite having been review-bombed. The fact that haters can easily influence a show's scores on Rotten Tomatoes by simply bombarding it with negative reviews adds a grain of salt into the way the website aggregates its rankings.

So even if your favorite show did not make it to the top of the list, it does not necessarily mean that it is bad — which also works for the contrary.
