'Materialists' Streaming Soon: When Can You Catch It?

Love, ambition, and a tangled web of desire collide in Materialists, the sharply witty new romantic comedy from acclaimed director Celine Song. Starring Dakota Johnson, Chris Evans, and Pedro Pascal, the film dives deep into New York City’s glitzy matchmaking world, where hearts and wallets are both on the line.
The movie is in US theaters since June 13, 2025, with international releases scheduled shortly after: the UAE on August 14, the UK on August 15, and France and South Korea on August 16, 2025.
For home viewing, Materialists will be available digitally in the US and Canada starting July 22, 2025, on platforms like Amazon Video and iTunes. Blu-ray and DVD releases are expected in August 2025, with the UK Blu-ray dropping on August 15 and Canada on August 26.
Streaming availability is anticipated on Max (formerly HBO Max) around October 2025, following the theatrical and home media runs, in line with A24’s distribution deals.
The film runs approximately 116 minutes, is rated R for language and brief sexual content, and is distributed by A24 in the US and Sony Pictures internationally.
